Aging in Place

These custom services are provided by a Certified Aging in Place Specialist and NASMM @Home Specialist.

Optimal Life Planning

We developed this unique process to help our clients thoughtfully and deliberately accomplish their life goals and live by their values.  This valuable service results in an optimal Life Plan that can guide and support our clients and their loved ones as they navigate the potential changes that may occur as they age.  

Aging in Place Home Assessment, Report, and Planning

This service closely examines the details of the interior and exterior home environment to identify potential safety concerns and barriers that may be problematic for aging in place.  We use this information in combination with our client's unique life plan, estate plans, budget, health, mobility, and support system to create a custom Aging in Place Plan.  This thorough planning process can help our clients discover a range of options for designing their home for optimal aging in place.

Assist in Implementing the Life and Aging in Place Plans

A Range Home can support our clients and help them accomplish their goals in a number of ways.  We offer consulting, concierge (personal business) services, project management assistance, and much more.  We have specific education and a wide range of resources and strategies that can help our clients efficiently and wisely implement their plans and solve problems.  Our professional expertise can give our clients a strategic edge that can save time and money by preventing common mistakes.  


Senior and Specialty Move Management

These custom services are provided by a NASMM trained Senior and Specialty Move Manager and @Home Specialist with a Certified Aging In Place Specialist designation.

Move Management Planning

Our professional Senior and Specialty Move Manager will assist our clients in creating a detailed moving plan and timeline to make the transition to the new home as smooth and easy as possible.  We advocate for the person(s) in transition and have special resources, training, and strategies to support the unique needs of older adults as they move.  

Move Management Services

Some of the services we provide are floor planning, transferring utilities, sorting, arrangements for items not moving to the new home, securing movers and other third-party services, overseeing the packing and moving process, unpacking, and setting up the new home.  From consulting support to full management of all aspects of the move, we customize our services to fit our client's unique needs.


Downsizing, Rightsizing, and Organizing

Downsizing

A full, rich life can result in a lot of possessions.  We help our clients part with excess possessions that no longer serve them by arranging the following: distribution of items to friends and family, profitable dispersal through estate or other sales methods, donations to charitable causes, junk removal, and more.  

Rightsizing

Rightsizing is creating and designing the perfect balance of possessions to support a person's unique lifestyle needs in the home environment.  This could include some downsizing, but it can also include replacing some items that no longer serve you with ones that are carefully selected to create a home that feels just right!  

Organizing

A Range Home will work with our clients to discover an organization system that will support their lifestyle and habits in the home.  We will declutter and purposefully arrange possessions so they can be safely and easily accessed.  We optimize the existing organization techniques and utilize existing supplies as much as possible.  The result is a space that is intuitive, purposeful, and easy to maintain.  


Legacy Services

Supportive Services for the Bereaved

When a loved one is lost, there is the difficult task of handling the possessions of the person who has passed away.  A Range Home's legacy service offers compassionate support by doing the following: sorting and organizing items so they can be more easily managed and dispersed, finding important items and documents, photographing and communicating home contents with heirs, donating items to charitable causes, and arranging for estate sales, junk removal, home repairs, cleaning, etc.
